Eco Mommies Know Best

As a new mom to my son (seen on right) I am getting to know a myriad of mommies, and am quickly realizing that we all have one common goal - to help make our immediate world a cleaner, safer and healthier place for our children. Part of this commitment involves feeding our offspring organic food in order to lower their exposure to pesticides, hormones and steroids.

Also, many mommies are placing their kids on gluten and casein-free diets to alleviate symptoms of various syndromes and disorders. Sweet Debbie's is thrilled to be able to provide gluten and casein-free cupcakes, cookies, brownies and muffins to our customers so that no child has to be deprived of having a special treat.

Kelly Rutherford, of "Gossip Girl" fame, is one fabulous eco and organic-conscious mom, and is seen here, on the right, partaking of a Sweet Debbie's cupcake at a charity event sponsored by the green fashion and style company Eco Stiletto.

At Sweet Debbie's, we continue to do research with physicians and food scientists to help us provide our customers and their children with the most satisfying desserts while adhering safely to any dietary restrictions they may have.

Holly Robinson Peete and Debbie Adler are active members of the Food and Anaphylactic Network (FAAN), a national organization whose mission is to help raise awareness and money for research in finding a cure and cutting edge treatments for life-threatening food allergies. Holly and Debbie are seen on right at the FAAN walk for food allergy in Santa Monica, CA.
